Troubleshooting & FAQ

Answers to the problems users run into most.

I can’t see a menu my colleague has

Menus follow your role. Compare your role with theirs in Roles & Permissions. An administrator can add a role.

“You don’t have access to Report …”

Reports carry their own role list. Ask an administrator to add your role to the report.

“User don’t have permissions to select/read this account”

Your role needs read access to Account (and usually Cost Center) to save purchase or stock documents. An administrator adds it in Role Permissions Manager.

“No permission for Buying Settings”

Your role needs read access to Buying Settings to save purchase receipts or purchase invoices in the form.

There’s no Actions button on my quotation

  • To send for approval you must be the quotation’s Owner.
  • To approve / reject / send back you must be the user selected in Sales Manager on that quotation.
  • Approved and rejected quotations have fewer actions.

My customer doesn’t appear on the quotation

Only Approved customers are enabled. Check its KYC state — Customers & KYC.

The supplier isn’t in the Purchase Order supplier list

Only Approved suppliers are listed — Supplier Onboarding.

A shop-floor step says “Waiting”

The previous step has not released quantity yet. With Sequence IDs (the Katekile routings), the previous step must be completed and its job card submitted first.

“Not permitted … linked to Employee”

Your user is linked to an Employee, and Katekile ERP restricted you to that employee’s records. An administrator can remove or narrow the User Permission — see Users & Roles.

The job card won’t submit

Katekile ERP requires the work order’s materials to be transferred first. Ask the warehouse to transfer the materials (Work Order → Start), then submit.

Saving a Quotation or Supplier fails with “Server Scripts are disabled”

The server needs server_script_enabled — see Email Notifications.

Customer name changed to “… – 1”

A customer with that name already exists. Check for a duplicate before continuing.
